Reggie Bryce is a rapper from the Pacific Northwest, but grew up in the Bay Area. At a young age, he was influenced by local rappers like Mac Dre, E-40, and Mac Mall. Reggie couldn't break dance like some of his peers, so he decided to write rap lyrics and record songs on his dad's karaoke machine for his friends. Throughout the years, Reggie expanded his taste in music to all different types of hip hop. He couldn't help but study how other rappers would put their words and rhymes together. When Reggie moved to the Seattle area, he joined forces with another rapper, producer, and DJ to form a rap group. For years, they released music and performed locally. Work and family life finally took over, so the group slowly stopped making music. In 2020, Reggie’s son started listening to rap music. When he found out his father used to be a rapper, he asked him to give hip hop another try. In 2021, Reggie teamed back up with producer, Joel Mallari, and started making music again. In honor of his son, Reggie added “Bryce” to his rap name.
